PROJECT

Redbill is a private shellfish shucking company on Martha's Vineyard. The name and identity are inspired by an oystercatcher, with a strong coastal character. The hand-drawn mark pairs an oyster's brininess with the distinct bird to reflect authenticity & craftsmanship. The bold serif wordmark grounds Redbill in confidence. The accompanying squared sans brings a rustic modernity to the identity. The web-design distinguishes itself with the looping oystercatcher, while remaining incredibly simple. One page and simple navigation keeps the focus on the story and presents necessary details. The overall design bridges a modern presence with Redbill's raw coastal personality.

I am a Junior at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications studying creative advertising with a minor in architecture.

I have over 6 years of design experience through various clients and projects, learning to take it further through the creative thinking of art direction.

I’ve picked up an interest for architecture as I continue expanding my design ability and thinking. Architecture not only is an incredible design education, but is also a vessel for expression and creativity.

In my work, I focus on presentation and attention to detail. Design transforms function into identity, defining and giving confidence to brands. Through my studies, I look forward to furthering my skills and creative thinking.
